ALBANY – Camille A. Luciano Schner, 72, of Albany, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, February 17, 2021. Camille was born in Albany, the daughter of the late Dominic and Ann Luciano. She was a graduate of Mercy High School, and of the Albany Medical College X-Ray Technician Program. She worked for many years as an X-ray Tech for Albany Medical Center, State of New York and then 30 years for Rosenberg, Zornow, Finn and Moran until she retired. Camille loved playing canasta with her girlfriends, sometimes double headers. She loved to play the slots with her twin sister Mary at Rivers Casino and was always up for a road trip to Atlantic City, however, cooking for her family was her absolute favorite thing to do (make sure you take the leftovers).

Schner; her daughters Vicki Sickles (Joseph) of Voorheesville, and Amy Schner of Guilderland; her brother Joseph Luciano (Linda) of Troy; her sisters Mary Blanchette (Edward) of Guilderland, Joan Luciano of Albuquerque, NM, and Donna Michels (Peter) of Colonie; and by her grandchildren Bailey and Molli Sickles.

Amy, Vicki, and “Dad” Jay,
My heart is broken for you all. Mrs. Schner was like a second mom to me growing up and being at your house. She loved to watch movies from her bed and was always so nice. She took me on my first cruise, on vacations with your family and spent many Christmases with your extended family. I miss those days.. my thoughts and prayers are with you all. May she be at peace and hopefully my Dad was there to greet her. Love to you all.

To Jay, Vicki, Amy, Mary, Joe, Joan and Donna… Words cannot express how sad it was to hear of Camille’s passing… I just finished watching her service on line…. I have so many fond memories of 105 Russell Road… I was just a kid when my Aunt Jennie lived upstairs and the fun we had in that house are memories that will last forever… Christmas time was always a special time when we all piled into one house on Christmas Eve and waited for Santa..
