
ALBANY – Barbara Potter Batty, 84, of Albany, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, December 25, 2012 at St. Peter’s Nursing & Rehabilitation Center (Center). She was born in Seneca Falls, NY, and lived most of her life in Utica until moving to the Albany area in 1995.
Barbara’s family cannot thank the staff of the Center enough for the care that they provided her in the last four years.
Barbara was the mother of three boys: David, who lives in Guilderland, New York, with his wife, Susan; Gary, who lives in Crown Point, Indiana with his wife, Rena; Steven, who is deceased. She had five grandchildren, Gary, Bryon, Christopher, Evan and Jennifer. Her sister, Sheila and her husband, Jack, live in Vass, North Carolina. She had numerous great grandchildren and nephews and nieces and great nephews and nieces.
There will be no services. Contributions in memory of Barbara may be made to Cure CMD (Congenital Muscular Dystrophy). The address is P.O. Box 701, Olathe, Kansas 66051. The website is CureCmD.org .
