Barbara was predeceased by her husband of 54 years, Thomas R. Schrader.  She is survived by her three children, Diane (Anthony G.) Goetke of Rexford, NY, Donna (Leonard) Berl of Williamsburg, VA, and Jill (David) Clancy of Prince George, VA; her grandchildren, Amie and Anthony T. Goetke, Seth and Chad Berl; and her brother Dr. Barry Huss.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a memorial gathering with refreshments to be held on December 28, 2011 at 12:00 pm at the Hearthstone Village Clubhouse, 4000 Florence Dr., Latham, NY, 12110, (518) 867-4050.  There will be no calling hours.  In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to a cancer charity of your choice.  Arrangements have been entrusted to the Hans Funeral Home, Albany.  To leave a message of condolence for the family or send a sympathy card, please visit www.HansFuneralHome.com.

Know that there were many in the East Greeenbush School District who held a high regard for your mother. I taught math lab under her watchfull and supportive eye for 2 years and she was indeed always very helpful and encouraging. Your family will indeed miss the same care and devotion I’m sure. As you work through your loss, may the impact she had on each of you continue to be remembered ithrough very fond memories.
Peace to you all, Sue Connolly
