EAST GREENBUSH – Anne Riendeau died quietly September 28, 2016 at Evergreen Commons in East Greenbush, New York.

Anne was born in Indianapolis, Indiana on April 4, 1934 to the late Lillian Louise Freeman Ransdell and William Moore Ransdell.  Her childhood was spent in Indianapolis and she graduated from Shortridge High School in 1951.

Anne began her career as a math teacher at the New York State Agricultural and Technical Institute in Canton, New York.  After the family moved to Troy, New York she began teaching in the evening programs at Hudson Valley Community College.  From there she moved to Emma Willard School where she not only taught math, but also served as Assistant Dean of Students.  She finished her work career in technical support at KPMG.

In her later years Anne spent most of her time caring for her parents, and her husband.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Richard Paul Riendeau.  She is survived by her children Thomas D. Riendeau of Rexford, N.Y., Terri E. Riendeau of Princeton, N.J., Michelle K.
