
GUILDERLAND – Anna M. “Ann” or “Angrit” De Alleaume, 78, of Guilderland, passed away peacefully at her home with her family by her side on Thursday, January 10, 2013. Mrs. De Alleaume was born in Manheim, Germany, the daughter of the late Paul Koch and Elisabeth Schrader Koch. She emigrated to the U.S. with her family at age 15, settling in Prattsville, NY. She earned a bachelors degree at the State University of Albany, and from that time lived in this area. She was an avid tennis player, playing in local tennis leagues, and she was a communicant of All Saints Catholic Church and the former St. Margaret Mary’s Church. She also was a talented seamstress and loved baking and cooking.
Mrs. De Alleaume is survived by her beloved husband of 55 years William A. De Alleaume; her children Dr. Lauren De Alleaume of Denver, CO, Paul William De Alleaume of Redondo Beach, CA, and Doris Stout (Warren) of Halfmoon. She was predeceased by her daughter in law Helene De Alleaume.
A memorial mass will be celebrated on Thursday at 9am in All Saints Catholic Church, Homestead St., Albany. Relatives and friends are invited. There will be no calling hours. Interment will be in Memory Gardens at the convenience of the family. The family suggests memorial contributions to The Community Hospice Foundation, 295 Valley View Blvd., Rensselaer, NY 12144.
