Trish,
My heart breaks for you! You are in my thoughts every day and I pray you find the strength and courage you need to get through another catastrophic event. You’re the big sister and I can’t even begin to know how much this must be killing you inside. You always wanted everyone to be happy and close – the Smith kids against the world. In your time of healing from losing your dad, you suffer another tremendous loss and it just doesn’t seem real.
The light you need to stay strong for and focus on is Nicholas. He is going to need your fight, your loving heart and your ability to find a smile and keep going. You’ve got some great angels walking with you; have faith in that. I know you’d rather have them physically here to hug and laugh with but treasure those memories; they’re priceless. We lose a lot of things in this world, but no one can take our memories.
You are forever in my heart and I feel blessed to have so many fantastic memories of time spent with you (my tattoo sister).
Love,
Nadine
